So you had 2 bad shafts on same boat? Not good

bad run of shafts due to poor metallurgic process or something like that. no rhyme or reason to when it happens

QC issue with a specific vendor that spans 3 or 4 model years? Seems odd. Doesn't seem to be a huge issue or it would be posted about more than it has - but I'm not fully buying the explanation.

That said - it hasn't stopped us from deciding a G will be our next boat.

The M235 has a 17" prop since it was built. The 2017 24MXZ and later also has a 17" prop. Not sure on the 25 LSV. No issues on any of those boats so far.

Yes, I see that. Wakemakers only has up to 2016 listed...that is 2017. Thanks for the info. Will be interesting to see if they start falling off.

Just think if you run it on the Ohio river, boat is dead in the water and a barge is coming, you are screwed!

I wonder if it only happens with 17" propellers? Who else runs 17" props? I think the 2018 Axis A24 is going to have 17" prop.

Are dealers giving any reassurance that this won't recur? Does anyone know why it's only occurring with G boats?
