i think your resale will prolly be ok. much like the old 210; they hold their value pretty well.

imo, you will have this. the very few who are lookign for the best wake (if it really has this) and dont care what the boat looks like. because to me, to be honest, it looks like a complete pile of crap.

or you will have people who still want to buy a decent looking boat that still throws a pretty incredible wake (current 210, 230).

the new g23 looks absolutely terrible. really, vented windshield. steal from malibu just a bit????? looks like a dang chaperrel in the front. ha comical.........

I think it's inevitable that we'll see a smaller G series model in the future. I don't follow having multiple Super Air boats at the same size. The boat should have been the new 230 in my opinion. G23 is a terrible name too.

I am pretty stoked to be picking up my 2012 230 tomorrow...The G23 is going to be VERY limited release this year and if you think there will be a discount off of MSRP you are crazy....MSRP is well into six figures...While I do like having a new boat, I think I will let this one prove itself for a year or so, let production numbers catch up with demand and hear some real world experience of the wake and cockpit before moving over....

Unless you're a pro looking to rewrite the history books with some super duper riding, then I'm sure the 230 will more than exceed your expectations in every way.

As much as I understand that, I see no maliciousness towards the site, or correct craft from the guy who posted the pics. He asked for them to be taken down. Him being banned because of that is rediculous IMO. Completely unnecessary considerering he complied to the best of his ability.

At the time I was notified of the pictures, I was walking around Sea World with my family. Not really having the time to communicate with the poster about the circumstances at the time, I quickly removed the pictures and temporarily banned him using my mobile phone to keep him from reposting them. The ban is set to expire soon after 3/31/2012. While I do take pride in providing information to the community as early as possible, I cannot and will not risk my relationship with Correct Craft to provide that information by means of leaked information that was basically stolen from a publication that has not yet been made public. Posting the pictures violated the site terms of use in that the pictures were obtained by questionable means, quite possibly illegal. I am not saying that our member obtained them illegally, but someone got them in an unethical manner, and I will not allow that type of content here.

Why did you take the pictures off? Is this a fan site or owned by correct craft? I think you should have left them on. Ultimately, who were you trying to serve? The guy who posted was trying to get us the pictures, did he have any other motivation?

While it is a fan site, It is in the best interest of any forum to maintain a good relationship with the manufacturer. When the manufacturer wants the pictures to remain private until a certain date, it's only the respectful thing to do to honor that request. And he is actually serving us by maintaining a good working relationship with Correct Craft. We don't want to have a site owned or controlled by the manufacturer - just look at MC teamtalk, you are not allowed to be critical of the MC brand at all, however you can criticize any other brand at will.

As far as the magazine pictures go - pictures are released early to magazines on a regular basis, they need the magazine to have the pictures for publication as close to the release date as possible (magazines have a lead time of between 30 and 60 days) - remember they have to keep the hype up.

this site has a great relationship with CC and to participate in an undesired early reveal would hurt that relationship. Jeff runs a clean site, which is a big reason it's as popular as it is.
