Lots of cool features, but where is the technology. Anybody can make a boat and ballast the heck out of it to get a huge wake. I was execting more for the hype. I was thinking this was to wakeboarding what the 200 was for skiing.
I was at the event tonight, and I heard a similar question being asked to Murray. The biggest takeaway from the many different things he said was that on most boats that you "Ballast out" you have to go 25+MPH to get a good shaped and hard wake. Not on this boat, you can ride at slower speeds and get a perfectly shaped wake. That's pretty game changing and possibly injury reducing if you ask me.

What do you think of that cooler, now that's awesome if you ask me!!!

So, where is the Murray edition!!!???

I don't think anyone can say its not game changing till they see, ride and feel the wake. The "game" is in the air between the wakes. I will say that is the best looking and most thought out boat on the market to date and I will add one to my stable someday.

Since I couldn't look at the info on the boat because Nautique.com is at a stand-still, I decided to build my version since that worked well. Realistically there would be a few things this boat wouldn't have IF I were to buy it like the Nautique tower speakers, but this at least gave me an idea of how full the tower would be. I can't believe a 343 is the standard engine... I choose 450! Oh yeah... not a fan of graphics in general so none for me. Enjoy!

I thought about the night surfing comment too, but many folks live on private lakes. I'm calling jd in a week or two and seeing if he's getting one and how everything works

I'm guessing for $107,000 you get a 343, analog gauges, and no stereo. Your going to need the 450 to move 2800lbs of ballast and the XS550 to do it quickly, that will put it close to the non-existent Xstar around $150,000.

I like it though, except for the black vinyl arm rest, that would leave a mark in the summertime. Typical Nautique interior, lots going on, very functional. Not sure it was a good thing to mention night surfing mood lights, that's probably illegal in most states.

Seadeck will be a problem in 3years when it wears out. I bet a new kit for this boat is $2k
