How did other brands make their wakes? When I was growing up the 210 ruled the wake along the 205v/x-star and nobody else was ever mentioned.

I get it that its going to have a revolutionary wake - and for the Pro riders, that's Awesome and I'm sure it will advance the sport even further - - but not sure changing the wake alone will get the non-pro to trade in their 210's and 230's - so I'm sure there's going to be some other cool and innovative features....I mean come on its Nautique, we're all die hard Correct Craft / Nautique fans and owners, you know they're going to have some other cool tricks up their sleeves...cant wait till 3.31

I'm going to go with a new flagship 25' wake boat, the Super Air Nautique 250.

250 sounds right: 210 - 230 - 250.

Mc and bu take old hulls and keep them in production I.e. the ride series and the x-1. I had an 05 x-2, in 06 they changed the name to the x-1 and dropped the price down to 39,900 with a trailer if I'm not mistaken. Ya you had to add p.p and tower speakers, but it did not help when I finally got fed up with beyond crappy service and beyond stupid issues from day 1 when I decided to get into a nautique. Whatever this boat may be, I think there should be a quality, entry level boat that creates a killer, pro level wake so more people can have access without getting a Moomba wake. Just perfect pass, plenty of outlets, and bilge pumps out the door on a single axle trailer with drum bakes for 60k. Add yournown sacs and tsunami pumps, and your own stereo. I am excited about the new boat though.

New boats don't belong in the $35-40k mark, that would put the hurt on the used market for sure.

And it would put more ding dongs on the lake. I've nothing against ding dongs...just don't want them out on the lake.

And then the resale of my 2007 is worth half what I paid, I think not. New boats don't belong in the $35-40k mark, that would put the hurt on the used market for sure. Agree close above $80k seems a bit rich.

Anyone who's worried or thinking its a pickle fork can forget about it, not going too see that on a nautique, I've heard it's a flat front bow and that the hull is all ballast lined not typical tanks like we're used too. The pros have been riding/ testing behind this boat for the past year so you can bet a few secrets have flown away!

Here is the skinny from a buddy in the know. The buzz from the pro riders is: this boat is all about the wake. He didn't tell me anything about the boat itself, but he did talk about the wake. He said most pro riders ride at 25-26 mph. This boat would basically change the sweet spot and most pro riders would be riding at 23 mph. The idea that they came up with is a wake that you could scream into and you would go straight up and come down wake to wake. From what I'm hearing the airtime on basic wake jumps is what is going to "change the game". Sounds like this wake will open the door to a year full of first time tricks only dreamed of.

Everyone can forget about the budget boat. Nautique has stated that is not thier intended market. I'm glad for that as a resale aspect. The market is flooded with budget boats.
