ya, ill post some tonight. not great pictures cause it wasnt quite dark enough, but you can get an idea. the red is just evil. makes the water look like blood. Add in that our lake is usually cold enough to get steam out of the exhaust, and it adds for an interesting effect.

It did occur to me that nav lights are also red/(green) so I dont know just how legal these are...lol

I do as soon as I see his pics of them in the water! My friend's mc has 6 leds on each side. I'm thinking 5 will be plenty. what color should I get? I'm thinking the white or blue......red would probably look the best on my boat though.

I just noticed....210GA's moniker is a dog "stuffing" the pink panther.

Anyway, white is probably going to be the clearest. If we all go colors to match our hulls, mine would be blue, but I don't know how well you'd actually be able to see it.

What ever color you choose the visibility is more a function of the clarity of the water than the color of the light. I had blue Abyss L800's (610 lumen's) on my 196 and in a less than clear river they were unbelievably bright.

                  dirty

only had my iphone to take pictures with, It doesnt take the best pictures in the dark but it gives you an idea. Alsoits pretty shallow at my dock and there are some weeds in the one picture, thats why its not spread out evenly.

all in all, pretty evil

I'm in - we only get to the water after dusk once a year (4th July) - but they would be bad... that one time a year.

Hey thanks for posting the pics Dizzyj. Your boat and mine are the same color combo, but mine's a ten year old now! These are the first pics I've seen of the red LED's, I believe Bullet is the first to the market with those.
For us, I think the blues will work better with our water color, but those red really compliment your boat. Nice... 8-)
