Dealers have seen and driven the boat and have some pictures, but have been amazingly good at keeing it under wraps.

I have been digging for info for weeks as I try to make the decision for a 2012 230 or the new boat (which I heard about in early December), which I hear is called "Gray" at this point....Will likely be going 230 route, since they will be able to sell these at MSRP all day long with the limited release (boat is not intended to replace the 230 by the way).

in a post where you request objective data supporting someone else's statements, your objective data to support your own is "CRAAAAZY". i understand that using the caps lock key makes it concrete evidence, but if you are going to call somebody on their opinion, you need more than caps locks and the assertion that "the whole Correct Craft team wants or has one" (assuming that we believe you have personally polled everyone from team members Andy Mapple whom has no use for a 230 to Scott Byerly whom has a 210 pro model).

either way, to get out of semantics and the empty assertions that we internet warriors make without citing references, the thought process that a larger boat (ie a 250 as opposed to a 230 as opposed to a 210) is pure poppycock. CRAAAAZY wake size is not relative to length. without getting into archimedes principle and fluid dynamics, if wake size is directly proportional to hull length, then if i powered 5 sheets of plywood (ie 40 feet) down the river at 24 mph with an airboat engine, then my 40 foot plywood craft would create a larger wake than your 210, 230, and 250. point being is that water displacement is how you create a larger wake and, hence, is the reason you add ballast to the boat. length and beam afford you more room to add more ballast (and therefore displacement), but neither, on their own, creates a larger wake......

Wow, he said it is his opinion. Let the guy have his own opinion, it is not like he claimed the 210 has a better wake. (simply stated he prefers the shape) The current 210 and 230 have slight variations in wake shape, so I can see how someone would prefer one over the other. Nowhere does he mention wake size. The whole Correct Craft team is given boats based on what Nautique wants them to have, and they are paid to build the hype. I hope Nautique delivers a great boat (and they probably will), but do not get facts mixed up with hype generation from what is essentially CC employees.

Because the 210 still rules the wake! I'd rather ride behind a stock ballast or weighted to the gills 210 over a 230 any day, but that is me. I like the shape of the wake more, like the older 210's.

How did other brands make their wakes? When I was growing up the 210 ruled the wake along the 205v/x-star and nobody else was ever mentioned.

Because the 210 still rules the wake! I'd rather ride behind a stock ballast or weighted to the gills 210 over a 230 any day, but that is me. I like the shape of the wake more, like the older 210's.
