Probably factory then...are there cutouts in the platform to drop the lifting lines through?

They look more like trailer tie downs (good idea) than lifting eyes

            Attwood

I ordered the underwater lights as an option on my 09 and am a little underwhelmed by their quality. Basically they consist of a plastic housing with led's embedded in silicone/rubber on the back and a very thin metal housing that covers the plastic when mounted. As you can see from the photos they have been removed from my boat and I am in the process of replacing them with the Abyss lights.
Attwood, less expensive, Abyss more expensive but no question the Abyss light is better built (one piece stainless housing). Abyss is significantly brighter.
            Disappointed CC went this route.

                  J2,
Those Abyss lights are nice, but aren't they $$$? Which light model is that in your pic, price? How many of those will you mount, would love to see the Abyss vs. Attwoods in the water pics if you have any.

They should be much brighter....they have over double the lights!

They are significantly more money, probably double the attwoods. I have seen them on Ebay at a discount if somebody is looking for a better deal. I went this route to get something that matched the rest of the quality of the boat. They do cost more but their is value in that additional cost.

The L800 B (blue) puts out 610 lumens each which is about double the white attwood light. From my experience using them on my 05 last year the biggest factor in how bright they are is the clarity of the water. I run in a river which mutes the light but they still have a pretty big punch. You absolutely do not want to look right into these when they are out of the water, you will go blind. I will see if I can fire them up side by side and shoot some pics. Have to wait on water shots until the foot and a half of ice in my front yard melts.

Putting on a pair in exactly the same spot the Attwoods were as seen on the picture.

It would be a great help keeping on eye on the kids when they are on the boat at night, swimming arround, playing lets hide and see if we can scare the crap out of dad and give him a heart attack.

They won't be here until the end of next week; they were in the process of making some new white lights.
