Rick is making some now that I know of, as one is for me. I would send him an email and see if he can make you one too. rick@tachyonmotorsports.com

I just got back from the river. I cut the tub down and now my pylon is flush. I logged more the 3 hours of pulling 5 kids on a tube and the pylon is working perfectly...

Any news on a new order? I have a 2002 SAN and am definitely interested.

Still need to adjust the height by cutting the tube. I was able to get the ring close by making a template of the curve.

BTW. Anyone else notice how hot the new plyon gets after the engine has been running a bit?

Great to see that they are all installed now, except the one that intrlaz has - which is in my office, ready for me to re-design.

I found that even on the same model boat from the same year, there is a LARGE variation in the relationship from the pylon mount to the top deck. This means that for any future runs, I will have to have measurements so I can produce the pylons with the proper height.

For future production runs, assuming there is a chance I will do this again, I will alter the trim ring radius so that it fits better & I will also have each person measure a few critical dimensions on their boat for me so that I can produce the pylons that fit perfect the first time out!

I need to have at a minimum (3) orders to produce the parts, or the cost is too high. Perhaps this fall would be a good time to set up another GB.

    Thanks!

I finally got around to installing mine. Like others, my top ring does not fit my hull so I have been taking a belt sander to it. I also need to trim down the tube so my pylon is level. I will post some pics when I get the ring on.

I one of you out there ends up not using the trim ring, I would like to try a different one on my boat also, just to see if I get a better fit. Please let me know!

The other option I was thinking about was to use the stock ring and cut the too short tube to fill in the gap.
