did you get $18,000 for it? that kind of suprises me, the blue book for a 97 SS is $12,370 if it has the GT40. If you got 18,000 then you did pretty good for a 12 year old boat with a 12K blue book! gotta love those nautiques

NADA doesn't mean anything on a Super Sport/Super Air Nautique. You will get on average 17-20 for them if equipped.

yes it does, to an extent. The nautique dealer in orlando has a 2002 super sport in perfect condition listed for 22K. That means they'll take 18-20K. The NADA is 16K. SO for a 1995 Super Sport, that NADA lists as 12K value, you can expect to pay slightly more (because its a nautique) so something like 15k. IF its a 1999 or 2000 you're gonna pay at least 17-20. But not on a 1995 or 1997.

Thats my opinion. And as we all know, the asking prices on planetnautique, the 2001, and correct craft fan are all MUCH higher than those on craigslist, boat trader, and other private sellers.

While I don't believe that in most situations you can get any nautique for the NADA, I think you can use the NADA and expect to pay about 30 % more. I do see nautiques go for the NADA plenty of times thought. And maybe we as consumers shouldn't pay twice the NADA on boats as often as we do; then people wouldn't expect it.

Climbing down off the soap box now.

Lukus, FYI, I just sold a 2002 Ski Nautique in May 2009 for $21,500. So the values on these boats will suprise you! 18K is in line with the current market on these boats for a '97 SS. Condition is everything! If a boat needs new skins, carpet, and gelcoat is rough, then a lower price is warranted.

Yeah, I don't doubt that you can sell these boats for higher amounts; the price range varies greatly. But for someone on a lesser budget, and who is willing to hold out until they find the right boat at the right price, these prices can be lower if they are patient and explore all possible venues of sales.

I don't understand. On page 1 ck1105's price was no less than $22K, On page 2 he found a dealer that would give him that price. Why didn't he sell it then? The boat had upholstry damage to the tune of $1,000 to $3,000 to repair, then the boat is $20K and finally sold for $ 18k. This should have ended when he had the $22k offer from the dealer. I actually had to go back and reread these posts. Apparntly he thought his boat was worth more or less depending on the day.

Wow I have not been on here in a while and whoa?? I sold the boat, I got a price I was cool with. The buyer was also cool with it because he bought it. Hardock cannot read very well so dont listen to what he has to say. I never had an offer for 22 the dealer told me that they would ask 22 if I sold it consignment with them. I started at 22 and lowered my price. I came to this website of nautique conosieurs to have an honest insight about what to ask. I am not going to publish the amount I sold it for because I informed the buyer about how great this website is and told him that it is a great reference tool. Now lets stop talking about someones new boat. He is super fired up about having one of the best wakeboard hulls ever made. He has already fixed the vinyl and put on the bimini. It looks great. So no more negative about the price or the boat. How would any of you like to have your "new" boat getting bashed in a public forum.

Thanks for all the help throught the years and one day I will own another Nautique in the mean time... Peace I am ouuttaa here..

ck1105, you're right. My bad. I guess I just wanna see Nautiques be afforded and enjoyed by more people. And I never bashed you're boat. Its a great boat. All Nautiques are. Especially the Super Sports.

12k would be a STEAL for that boat. Looks like you've got 6,000 just in ballast, perfect pass, stereo, and tower.
