I think new skins are about $2800 for the whole boat.

I got an estimate for only the skins that needed to be replaced and it was right at 1000. sundeck alone was 450!! sheesh.

To the poster, if you are not eager to sell your boat I suggest you fix it up before asking such a price and you might get an offer or two. It's current state, hours and year do indeed correspond to a range between 17K-20K, NOT 22k. Regards

After seeing the photos I do agree with prometheus. I bought my boat last year minus the tower for 13.5K and it was in the exact same condition as yours. Mine also needed a 1000 in skins and new striping with a major buff and detail. I think 17k would be more than fair. If that is not what you are willing to sell it for then case closed. I suggest finding a way to use the boat.

Thanks guys! I know I am prob going to end up keeping the boat. I went to my local nautique dealer and after they did all there formulas they gave me the asking price of 22K . I am not too motivated of a seller so I am not going to give the boat away.

On a side note has anyone ever seen a 4cylnder accord tow a nautique??

I think that under those circumstances the boat would be towing the car. I am sure that there is someone in austin that wants to wakeboard that owns a truck that would be more than willing to tow you to the lake for a pull.

Please tell me you haven't done that. Not only would that be extremely illegal, but it would be a very not-smart thing to do.

I am in the process of installing a complet set of skins (from Christine's) on my '99 Super Sport. The skins delivered were $3150.00

Did that price include the foam?

Nope, nothing wrong with the foam except for the occasional chewed hole. Christine's sent me some foam sheets/blocks of varying thicknesses (N/C) so that I could repair any damaged foam. Works great.

I'd hold it at least for a few more monts, as things warm up people will be looking again for boats. The '97 SS is a highly sought after boat, I have the same model and still to this day people always stop and ask about it. I have had more than a few people say "wanna sell it?" The only thing hurting you is the skins, if it's not really clean some may look at that as a negative. The problem you have now is there are way too many boats being "dumped" as people try to get out from under them, this past weekend I drove past a local dealer and the sign out front said "Repo Specials." Hang in there if you can.....

Thanks for the attitude booster. I dont need to sell it by any means. I am only trying to because I dont use it.

Could someone give me the number for christines. I am going to see about getting the skins again. I am really going to try and start using the boat again may as well fix the seats for myself...
