    New Truck pulling '04 SV-211

We've had the boat since June and we love it. I traded the 2003 Tahoe last week for this 2007 Chevy 2500HD. I think the Silver matches the boat pretty well and the Duramax pulls the boat just as well as the boat pulls a skier!

Thanks!! You are probably the one I got that webite from. Since I am still recovering from knee surgery, I spend a lot of time on here and on dieselplace. I've turned into an internet geek! I do really like the truck and the Nautique!! I'm looking forward to lots of trips to the lake next season.

How does it ride compared to the Tahoe? My Silverado Z71 extended cab shortbed rides much rougher than my Tahoe when towing.

You will love the new LMM. It's a fantastic tow rig. I got my LMM in august and love how it tows. I also frequent the diesel place site - great site just like PN.

                    Mikeski,

I've only towed the boat to Tyler and back (appx. 100 miles) to have the boat winterized. IMO the truck rides better than the Tahoe with the boat attached. However, the Tahoe was a much smoother ride when compared to the empty 2500HD. The Tahoe always felt a little underpowered when towing the boat up hills. My Tahoe was an older one with only 285hp. But hey, the truth is, I just wanted a new truck and the boat helped me justify buying a diesel. And the Silver truck matches my boat better than the Red tahoe!!
