My second Nautique - just picked her up this past weekend (my very first new boat....my riding buddies in the neighborhood have already named it the "SMURF"...go figure!): 2012 Super Air Nautique 230 Team w/409. Got a tremendous deal on her and I couldn't be happier....can't wait to break in the engine and start riding! Oh, and the best part, it fits under my standard garage door (7'1") despite everything I read regarding clearance - that just saved me some serious $$$ because I was going to be in for some masonry work and new garage doors. Maybe someday a G23, but for now, I'm pretty excited/content to be in a 230!

That is awesome it will fit in a standard garage, I've always wondered that. What trailer are you using? I'm sure it plays a role

That is an awesome color, plenty of bling factor and you will be able to get a pile of surfs in that beast-2006 210 TE

"Pile of smurfs"...hahahaha. Nice.....I'm hoping for a pile of "Smurfettes" this summer (newly single).
Thanks for all of the compliments guys - I really only thought people were paying attention to G23/G25's these days, so maybe resale won't be as bad as I initially thought (I'm hoping that not everyone needs a beast like the G and there will still be some demand for a 230 when I go to sell). Also my dealer said he would throw on the NSS for cost (no labor) if I ever want it
Regarding the trailer and standard garage clearance, its on a blinged out BoatMate trailer (18" wheels / low profile tires), so I thought I was screwed when it came to fitting it in the garage (I think this is the highest riding set-up....a Ram-Lin or standard BoatMate trailer craddles the boat lower from what I have seen...although I could be wrong on this). The breakthrough was when I discovered the Tower has a "garage setting" (as well as a "bridge setting") that enables you to lower it waaay down....below the windshield line. Once I found this setting, I knew I had a 50/50 shot of making it (the Nautique videos always show the "bridge setting" in their teaser vids which is no dice for fitting in a standard garage). It only clears by about 1/2"...1" tops, but that's enough to keep her tucked in at night and out of the elements
Just bought a bunch of BoatBling products....going to get her all gussied up this weekend!

UNCalum - LOL, unfortunately no....I'm a Longhorn fan (moved to Charlotte about two years ago from Austin, TX). However, the color scheme was a bit strategic in looking down the line for resale since its close to Tarheel Blue and Carolina Panther blueI do really like blue in a Nautique though (my last Nauti was Vapor Blue)....so it was a win, win. Now if we can just get some warm riding weather.....I was already trunking it this time of year on our lake!
