Wow looks good. I'm not sure, but it seems like it is going to be SLICK when water hits it.

Platform sanded flat and clear coated. Didn't turn out perfect, but I have limited patience when working with CF and fiberglass. Overall I am happy and now its time to get some sano on it.

First layer of resin down... some sanding and another coat or two and she will be looking like glass. Its a shame most of it needs to get covered up.

Ended up needing 1 8' board per side for the dividers. I then bought a 3rd 8' board for the platform construction. Ill have to take a look into some hyrdo turf or other options for no slip gripping.

Those dividers look great! How many boards did you end up needing? Did you make your platform out of the same stuff? I agree with axeman that sea deck or something like hydro turf will work better. The Sano stuff looks good but gets brittle and sharp after only a couple seasons of use.

Carbon fiber platform with SeaDek laid on top and Nautique lettering in SeaDek would look pretty awesome. Carbon fiber platform alone would look awesome.

Thanks a lot, the list is slowly getting smaller. Hoping to have everything finished up in the next month or so.

Platform all mocked up. Time to wrap it in some carbon fiber and then I will be placing some nautique logo sano in a custom design (still to be determined). I made the platform a little smaller (length and width) in hopes of having less of a chance off the it messing with the shape on the surf wave.

Also finished my mock up of my NSS made out of plywood. Time to order some aluminum and materials to finish it off.

Solid engine dividers are finished up. Went to Lowes and purchased some 9 1/4" x 3/4" x 8' PVC decking. Not the cheapest at $35 a piece but they work out great and will not rot. The install was pretty easy. The boards slide nice and tight into the existing brackets by the back seat. Then for the transom side i just used the existing "L" brackets at the bottom. For the top part i just used a simple aluminum bracket to join the upper and lower pieces together. All hardware is held on with nylon wing nuts which makes access to the motor very simple and easy. Don't mind the dirty boat, she is getting a major cleaning once everything is wrapped up.

Tower mounts are being welded as we speak. New heim joints are already installed on the tower. Very happy with how this is going and should definitely stiffen up the tower. Ill have a bunch of pics once I get everything all wrapped up with that.

I'm thinking 1/4" would probably be good. But I will say that I went to my local plastic place and paid about $100 for a 24"x48" piece of 1/2" starboard... Ouch.
