    Ballast pump not running

Went out this morning and turned the 3 pumps on and no starbird pump, breaker was tripped. Reset and tried a couple more times, you can here the click and the other pumps lose a little power, but then pop goes the breaker. Tried it by itself and no go.
Had a similar issue with the belly this summer but I think it was because my buddy would push the buttons to fast or to close in time. Tried to run the starbird pump in empty mode but same issue, 06 220, used it last about 2 weeks ago and worked fine. What do I check? Thanks in advance.

If they are impeller type pumps, the impeller might be sticking to the housing causing it to trip the fuse. You can take it apart and check that.
I have that type and it happens. I will always empty my sacks and then quickly bump the pumps to fill, just to get the vanes going in the right direction for the next time I use them.

          bigger issue

Took the pump out today to see if I could free the impeller, wouldn't spin at all. Carefully pulled top of pump housing of and found chewed or broken magnets. Is this repairable? Also, figured since I have the back seat off that I would move the belly pump over so in case we go out we can at least fill the rear tanks. Before I do this I noticed that the hose from the thru hull feeds the starbird side on the bad pump, but feeds the port side on the other two. Can I move the belly pump over or will it empty when the button says fill and vise versa? Pics are the top of the pump, the debris that came out and the other one is of the 3 pumps with red tape around the inlet hose, I traced them all and in fact the bad pump feeds in the opposite direction. Much help needed now. Thanks
