I was just making the point that I don't believe resale will fall due to all of the technology in these boats.

You've definitely had your share of issues!
NautiqueJeff Sorry, if it seemed like I was lashing out. It's a touchy subject for me right now. This forum is an amazing resource and your contribution is invaluable. My boat is still under warranty, but now I'm wondering if I should extend the warranty or upgrade before it expires. I am surprised to hear how common it is to upgrade before the warranty expires. Are there current known issues for getting parts out of warranty? Would anyone mind sharing experiences of repairs after warranty vs. upgrading a boat every year, or even every few years? Cost benefit vs deficit? Maybe these waters are too murky? This is a separate topic which I will research/search for first.

I did call customer care at Nautique and they responded fairly quickly. They contacted PCM and my dealership. I mentioned how PCM made it very clear they did not deal with individuals and the Nautique representative said they were trying to remedy this. Before he got to me my dealership had reached out. They said a fuse had partially blown or had blown, but also welded itself back together partially. I guess it was enough to complete an electrical circuit, but not enough for the boat to start. More Info to come, but this was much welcomed news. Not all parts have arrived for the side panels from my cup fire incident, but it sounds like the boat will be usable.
