Just saw an Instagram post of a custom Boatmate P23 trailer... I'm sure it will be equally expensive with some of its "bling" only add-ons.

I already have mine, and while it is nice, and I “spec’d” it as I wanted, I’m not sure it is any different than me ordering a triple axle for a G25 or something like that. Disc brakes on all three axles and a 2 5/16” coupler, but nothing special, IMHO.

I saw the P23 in person yesterday at the Detroit Show. All I can say is holy crap. I will never buy one but it is worth over 200K.

The X-24 was the closest boat at the show in terms of quality and it wasn't even close.

The M240 was laughable.

Agree. If you do that, you also need to change the gray on the tower to black... Just sayin...

Here’s a little sneak peak of the Atlanta boat show. Impressive boat but I agree, the colors of the demo boats are a snooze. This one included.

A red boat is always a beautiful boat.

I think the previous boat was gorgeous as well. There are always different tastes, but the ones that I would never purchase are the ones where it feels like they were trying too hard to be edgy.

I do know who picked built this he was looking for conservative colors. I have no doubt they will sell this where we are located. I think they sold 2 G25 Paragons at the show as well before the weekend started. When you have a lake full of billionaires this boat isn’t a hard sell. I’m guessing there will be 5 on the lake this summer.

Some of the Paragon builds from the mother ship for boat shows (color wise) mmmmmm, I don’t know... I agonized about this, agonized. I’m not sure the folks in Orlando “agonized” in the same manner... For that matter, the local dealer may not have agonized... Somebody should have “agonized”, because I’m slightly in agony when I see the color combos...

Check out the thread from a couple months ago on insurance and the nonsense from SkiSafe. They were well over 1% of value in premiums. My 230 is about .9% through Geico.

Ouch.

Combining with home, more than 20 years experience, a blanket liability policy, and having a captains license, must get me some pretty good discounts. My rates are about half that.
