Standard Ballast 2015 Super Air 230 issues with wake surfing
The 750s in the back without the storage lockers still hold at minimum five or six jackets on each side.
Well yea, when the 750s are empty. I want to be able to store a couple of jackets with the bags full, that's why I went with lead bags (actually they're steel) under the bags.

As you can see, I'm still able to hold a few jackets when they're full. C'mon Charles. Time to go big. LOL
Any chance you have the specs on the pieces of wood? Save us all some time measuring.

I can do that, but not until later when I get back down there to the boat. I got lucky and had a big piece of cardboard on hand to use as a template so I wouldn't scratch the boat up while fitting/trimming it to size. I'll try to go down there in the next few days.
I go slower than most people at around 8.5-9 mph. NSS @ 0. I pull that gate thingy back all the way for more wake height. As for weight, I normally have my stock setup of 400 lbs of leadwake bags and the 3350 lbs of water ballast (custom sacks from wakemakers) that is all controlled from the dash as well as 6-7 people. We only had 3 people in the boat in these 2 pics so I threw a sack in the cabin this time to make up for it and experiment with it. PM me if you want more explicit details or pics of the setup.
Update on this: I just went out on a new friend's G21 last night and discovered my speedo is definitely off. I preferred 11.5 on his boat. Weird thing is my 2005 210's speedo was off to the exact same degree as my current 230 and the old boat had a paddle wheel! Crazy...

I'll take a pic of mine next time I'm out. I'm saying with them blasted full you can still easily get jackets in under the hatches. **** you can still leave the storage containers in with 750s, they just lift a little bit if you slam them full.
Added the 3/4" plywood to my 230 today....my bigger issue is that the stock plastic divider in the rear was sagging in towards the engine and i dont want anything to rub belts/hoses/etc.....some pics have measurements. Comment if you have any questions.
The full length is 48"....the pin is placed at the front of the removable divider just under the support rail that way the pin is well supported but will also resist any "lifting" of the stock divider. Also, in one pic you can see how far the back stock divider (behind the removable divider) is sagging away. YES having this additional support will cause you to loose some water/weight but i was willing to give up for peace of mind that sagging wont break the back support into engine bay.
Oh man! I forgot I was supposed to take measurements of my plywood. Not to be a turd, but you got the grain going in the weaker direction. It should be horizontal.
Okay, I'm not in any way saying I've got the answer for everything here, but this pattern of plywood has been a huge help and it has held up well for almost two seasons now. I spent a lot of time trying to fit the largest piece I could fit in there without damaging the gel coat if I needed to remove it. That's why I used cardboard as a template. So... Here are some pics of the measurements. If I screwed up or need to post anything better, call your mom... JK Let me know.
Even though this a ghetto solution, It works REALLY well. If I'm bored this winter (like I thought I would be last winter), I'll router the edges and get it Rhino- lined. Hard to find plywood that doesn't have any voids though.-even the good stuff.

Plywood alternates grains between layers so it doesn't matter
