I think Nautique did a great job with this boat ... except the timing of the reveal ... For people who just bought brand new 2012 boats this is a let down. This boat should have been a 2013 model as my dealer has always said new boats need to be ordered at least a year in advance to get a build slot ....

I absolutely love almost eveything about this boat except the price tag. What I dont understand is why they made it the "G23". The new boat is what the SANTE 230 should be. Why keep both models and release the G23 so late They should have realesed it as a late 2012 230 or waited four more months and announced it as the 2013 model. I think it really screws those people who ordered a 2012 230. Great looking boat…yes. "game changer"….not really.

Not to hate because the boat looks cool and whatever, but what is so game changing about this boat? I was expecting some far out unheard of technology and all I saw was a shovel nose boat with well thought out storage, the same seating in a 210 and a ton of ballast. Lots of cool features, but where is the technology. Anybody can make a boat and ballast the heck out of it to get a huge wake. I was execting more for the hype. I was thinking this was to wakeboarding what the 200 was for skiing.

I agree. Took three years or so to copy other boats - not so impressive. I may or may not like the boat when I see it person, but doesn't seem very game changing to me. BKH

The blue in person I thought looked great!! Good to see a large turnout of all the team skiers/jumpers too. Parrish might want one for himself after seeing it tonight

I'd like to see it with different graphics, because the look of the blue one made me throw up in my mouth a little... And blue is my favorite color. Graphics remind me of crazy MB, which also make me throw up in my mouth. My tastes are more understated. But maybe that is just me. The extra space sounds great though.

Also, they could have hired a real pro MC for the event rather than that tool Dano. Forgive me Lord, but someone needed to say it.

Slow speed wake is not all it cracked up to be. We've been doing that with the wings on the foils, bigger wings=same air at 22 you used to get at 27. So what do you do? You go 27 and get a lot more air. Will it help people get a little better? Maybe, but you just can't generate the speeds going slow to get that much more air, not to mention its gonna scare the heck out the little kids and the newbies. It will be game changing to a few though.
