Per Nautique rep at Buxton's unveiling party, the 230 is not going anywhere and will continue to be produced for the foreseeable future...

I'd say sales will determine how long the 230 stays around. A 2012 230 MSRPs for almost 94K for the Standard Edition and 99K for the Team Edition. The G23 only comes in the Team Edition and is 107K. I know that if I was buying a 23' Nautique there is no way I'd consider the 230 over the G3 because the price difference isn't very much in the scheme of things.

While riding, can you report on speed and line length? One of the huge claims of this boat is a nice clean wake at various speeds. One thing that would be important to me is to have a wake that is clean at slower speeds as well as the higher speeds. Since I have a couple boys that I will be getting into the sport, it is always nice to start slower and still have a clean wake. Something Malibu's are pretty darn good at....

Ditto. How wide is this wake and how lippy and clean is it at 22mph? A great shape and sized wake can be had in many boats with tons of weight and 26mph. But a good wake at 22 is much harder to achieve. Thanks Jeff for your hard work. Convince White Lake to get one so we can demo here in NC!

The 230 is such a great boat in itself, and the looks are phenomenal! The 'G' boat is really nice, and will elevate top riders to new heights, but don't let it steel too much of the 230's limelight...... For 70% of us, the 230's wake is over the top as it is.... imo

I have been watching the website video and I am very impressed. Jeff, your photos are great and should be condensed into a montage.

Congratulations to the entire Nautique team on the creation of this great boat.

The G23 presents feature after feature of improvements and advancements. The whole Nautique wake line is sure to benefit from what has been achieved with this model, and I am proud to be a member of the Nautique family.

Am I reading this correct...the G23 drafts less than the 230 and 210?

230 draft: 29"
210 draft: 28"
G23 draft: 25"

That is great news for people in shallow lakes with sandbars or shallow channels!
