Yes, and that is a key question. This new hull allows the speed to be reduced, even with full ballast, and the wake is super-clean. Most were riding at only about 23 with full ballast. Normal speed for these guys behind other boats is significantly faster, since that's what's required with this much weight. With less ballast, the speed can be reduced even further.

Few more interior shots. Notice the contoured seat shapes, speakers angled to direct sound to specific locations, hinged cushions, hand-stitched grab rails, vented windshield, battery charging plug, and fold-away bow arm rests.

By the way, the green boat and the blue boat both have the XS 550 Supercharged engine. This boat has the 450. All of them had unreal power.

What was the difference between the two? More top end?

Here's the other G23 Super Air Nautique onsite today. I spent some time driving this one. The driving experience is amazing! I will wait for the interview questions to be answered to go into details, but there is SO MUCH technology built into this boat, from the design of the hull, the HydroPlate, the LYNC system, and the way everything works together to make the driving experience unreal. The details of this are truly amazing. Look for all of the details in the interview coming later this week!

I spent quite a bit of time in two of the boats -- one with Greg Meloon and one with Shaun Murray. The boats are awesome! I used the good camera to get the pics, so I can't upload them instantly like I can with my iPhone. I'll post them tonight when I get to my hotel.
