Don't mock it until you have driven a BIG BLOCK. The rumble, sound and power is JUST freaking awesome.
I wish CC would design a hull for footin and put the 550 in it. I would love it....Comment

Theres nothing special about the size of the 6.2L block... if it "wont fit" in the boat, its because it wont fit under the current motorbox. Thats a pretty weak excuse, as CC has built special boxes to fit over bigger engines in the past. The Python-powered direct drives would be the most recent example.1990 Ski Nautique

Love the supercharger "whine"!!!
Jeff did they load it up with ballast for you? I'm sure that supercharged engine has a bunch of torque down low in the rpm range for pulling out those loaded up 230's!2008 230 TE-ZR6

We did load up the factory ballast, and you couldn't even tell it was there. This engine can handle literally tons of extra weight!

Ouch, guess those will be even less common than the Python powered boats were. Very cool option though if you get the urge to barefoot behind your 230 and don't have time to dump the ballast.Comment
