people on this site are big fans of coversports, but I like a waterline cover which protects the side from sun. It depends on where you store the boat. I also tow this boat and I leave the cover on, it protects the sides from rocks that kick up -and it has held up - has at least 5000 miles over the past year. You can have a cover custom made or I have seen the waterline covers on http://www.skiboatcovers.com/index.html

I see that many on this thread are fans of CoverSports, but personally I use a cover from Empire Covers. Their covers are semi-custom fit, durable, and low priced. I was truly impressed with their products, so give them a try!

I have heard nothing but good things about skiboatcovers.com. I also believe you can have a removable skirt added to a coversports cover. It depends on use. If I didn't trailer and occasionally want to leave the cover on to do so, I would probably buy something different. In other words, if my boat was on a covered lift year round, I would definitely go with a waterline cover and not worry about having something that was drum tight.Originally posted by mcbridek View Postpeople on this site are big fans of coversports, but I like a waterline cover which protects the side from sun. I had a local sail shop make a swim platform cover & side skirts for the Coversports on my 211. The side skirt just attaches w/ Scotchlok (holds better than velcro).
The platform cover attaches w/ Scotchlok to the rear of the cover and then has some short stretchy stuff (about 4") w/ plastic hooks on the end that go under the platform. This protects it from sun and keeps geese, ducks, and other birds off.

I eliminated these for a few reasons, primarily that they require poles in the middle. A bit of a PITA to put on/off and I don't think you can tow them them.Originally posted by mcbridek View Post

I received a response back from Coversports this morning. This is what it said in regards to price for 2006 SV211 cover.Originally posted by Nautique211 View PostDoes Coversports have a design that also covers the swim platform?
"Hi Cover Sports here the price for that is 830.00 plus 35.00 in shipping. Our covers do not cover the swim platform. "

Wildsv211 - Thanks for posting the Info. I'm still pondering what direction to go with a new cover for our 05 211.
