2017 Polk PA4A Head unit or AMP

I have a 2017 SANTE 210 with factory installed Polk head unit with a small JL audio amp. We have just one pair of factory tower speakers and 4 -6"speakers (no sub or bow speakers). Last year the right side went completely out. (If I adjust the balance to the RT I dont get any audio). Not sure if it is the head unit or the amp. Anyone have similar issues? I have searched around the forum and unable to find any clues....

Swap the left and right inputs going into the amp. If the side that works moves, then the problem is the head unit. If it doesn’t move, then it’s the amp. You may also discover in the process that the problem is a bad cable or connection.

Typically, its the amp. Not unheard of for a head unit to go bad but most of what I've personally seen is the amps failing first. In your case you're we're talking about 9 season audio gear so anything is possible. JP has your answer for testing. Let us know the results.....
