I've seen some post from G owners having issues with hissing speakers. I haven't gotten into my stereo set up yet but the hissing is very noticeable on my 2014 210. Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?

consolidate the amplifiers and head units grounds to a single location. i'm having this problem on my 236 because i added additional amplifiers and did not ground them in the same place as stock amps ground. going to have to fix it before the season kicks off soon

is it all the time or just when engine is on? (Mine sounds great until I press the start button, and fluctuates with the level of throttle). Had a suggestion once to cut the head units ground... Didnt understand why but the guy was pretty convinced

No, not unless you added additional amps/speakers or ran new power and ground leads.Originally posted by Wakecat View PostI have the same issue in my 2014 210. Is it recommended to run a new ground from the engine block to use for Amps and head unit?
ground loop noise will typically be louder with the engine on, as the batteries are being charged by the alt when running. Not cut the ground to the head unit permanently, rather relocate its ground point to the same ground bus bar as the amps are grounded.Originally posted by nautiques4life View PostSubscribe.
