A little tip for the rope attached to the inner suction cup lever. I attached a tether to both levers and I can pull both levers at the same time by pulling on the cord

Setup: about 10.2 mph, 750's about 1/2-3/4 full. Center stock full, 6 people in the boat. I had the wife sit in the bow to see if I can get more length. Still need to play with weight distribution.

    This wave was AMAZING!

GAME CHANGER!!! I went with an angle on my gate, the three inch bolts on the bottom are for the greatest angle. I cut the gate panel to 8"X6", and cut the handle off the front suction cut to have gate panel as low as possible. Only issue is the HOD is starting to loose its suction, but its ridiculous on my 08 SANTE. I fill everything i can, back piggys FULL and front stock FULL, we filled the boat with people and it was so big!!!! But with only my GF and I and the ballast as full as we can get it, we could ride perfectly. we were riding at 11.3MPH. I ordered new cups with metal frame, it hasn't came in yet.

I would also recommend that you start with only stock weight with ghetto gate placed accordingly and then add weight from that reference point depending on wave.
I think I will try that.

You obviously got it figured out. I had stock ballast plus 600s in the rear lockers and a sack under the front seats and couldn't get a good wave going. I didn't get to tweak it much because I got frustrated with boat traffic, but it seemed like I had too much of a rear weight bias because the boat was very much bow in the air at surf speeds.

all I can say is I got lucky with placement and gate size, we did play around some with sacks and more people, the more weight I add to my boat the bigger the wave gets, but still stays nice and clean, with more weight I do have to speed up a little to lengthen the pocket out, I'm sure you will get yours dialed in soon, I saw your other post and the suggestion to turn your gate around may be something you want to try, my hull is shaped much different than yours so I'm probably not the best person to be giving tips though, lol

It seems like some are attaching the device backwards (JieemQ's pic seems like an example) which would cause less than optimal results I'd imagine. Something to check...!?

no problem, I really can't take credit for the r&d though, just read the team talk forum and decided to try to make one, never thought the one I made would work as well as it does!

it is kinda tight to get the front latch depressed, that I believe is the only flaw mine has, but it really isn't that hard to stick your fingers in and push down, I just latch the back one first to hold in place and then the front

around 25 degrees, I made this one tonight for a buddy to try on his mojo 2.5, if mounted perpendicular to the hull it has roughly the same angle as mine when mounted to the angled back hull area

Its not hard to get your finger in there. We have stacked washers on the through bolts to make the spacing wider so you can get your finger in.

    thanks,[/B]
I did not try the starboard side yet. I am running stock rear tanks plus wedge sacs on top and a 650 pound sac in the ski locker. I think I may need more in the front but it worked pretty well for the first time out. The great part about it is having the boat evenly weighted. Good luck and share your results.
