Installation help: CoverSource cover for 2007 SV-211

I received my cover from CoverSource and am really happy with the design and craftsmanship. However, I can't figure out how to secure the drawstring portion in the rear. How does the cinch work?

    Thanks in advance.

The tightening strap shown loose on the swim step has small rope parts on each each. Those rope parts should tie to the cover drawstring ends you can see hanging at each end.
Once tied, loosen the draw strap by opening the mechanical one way locking device. Before tightening, make sure the strap is below the gunnel line. Then to tighten, pull the strap end across the back end of the boat perpendicular to the transom using the mechanical device for leverage. You should be able to get the strap really right. Make sure the pad is between the lock and the transom.

I'll see if I can take a picture of mine later today.

    Hope this helps.

If you don't mind me asking, how long did you wait for your cover once ordered?

Thanks for the info. A picture would be great.

Ordered June 10, 2025 and received March 10, 2026. Worth the wait.

There is a bit more install information in this thread https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/f...ion-guide-help

I am also looking for that installation video but it's gone from youtube.

Is there anything specific you're struggling with? Mine is in storage for a few more weeks, but I have a lot of practice putting the cover on a 211. :)

Most important thing is to correctly do the rear stern ties so you get the one pull release. You're hating life if you do it the other way. :) I can make another vid for anyone that's interested.
