What am I doing wrong? We picked the boat up, drove 2 hours home, then 2 hours to a lake for a play day then 2 hours home again. The bottom edges are trashed from flapping in the wind against the sharp metal frame of the bimini. The straps are tight and I can't find any way to tighten up the corners. Or is this a common problem?

Just posted a couple of pics on the way to use the cover on the G here: https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/f...owing-question
Not sure if it is the same for the 230, but it makes all the difference for us. Totally loose and flapping around otherwise. Thousands of miles on ours and no issue when installed correctly.

From the 2 pictures you posted, it doesn't look like you did anything differently than I did. I slid it over, and made sure they were clipped together and tight. The tightness of the straps has no effect on the floppy ends.2018 SAN 230
