    Ballast Valve Cable Ball Joint

I don't remember ever seeing a post where the Ballast Valve Cable connection has come off?
I was checking the V-drive level and just happened to spot that both supplemental cables where disconnected. One Ball joint was still on the cable, the other is somewhere where socks and missing parts go, never to be seen again. Our Nautique Dealer has them in stock, good thing, but couldn't find them anywhere on Nautique Parts or other. Both valves where in the off position. Makes me wonder how much water the Supps. are holding, TBA.
Not sure why we didn't pick up on this last Season, should have been obvious, I would think. The impellers look good, so it must of been right at end of Season.

Scoot - both of my supplementals were disconnected from the factory when I picked up my '24 new at the dealer. I only found it on my first trip to Flaming Gorge when looking at something else. And I'd been running the pumps a lot. The dealer put them on and claims they replaced the ballast pumps / impellers, but I'm not sure I believe that they did. Checking all 5 is part of my weekly routine now.

Thanks for the note Bob, good to know I'm not the only one.
I rarely get blind sided, but I got caught not paying attention on this one.
I guess I can say I am usually if ever the one stowing and trailering the boat, I'm the dedicated back down the ramp guy.
      Paying attention here forward...

        Quick Update:
Supplemental Bags were empty. I'm assuming the cable disconnect happened between a back to dock and the next time on the lake sometime near the end of Season.
Dealer had the correct ball joint connector and lock nuts. It was about a 10 minute repair, until I dropped a brass screw to one of the pump covers. Have no idea where that little dude hid after an hour search. Even used an endoscope, probing in all places. Unfortunately brass is non-magnetic. It will maybe roll out of it's hiding place someday and I can add it to the bag of other parts I've gleaned off the bottom of the boat.

If anyone knows the size or a source for these screws, I would love to hear.
Ace is the place hardware turned up nothing.
