Anyone happen to have a good picture of the intake and output hoses for the heater core on the Excalibur 330? I'm going through the winterization process, but I can't seem to find them on my newly acquired 2005 SV 211. There are no red hoses coming off my engine. The dash has a button for a heater with a working relay, but i've never felt any heat by my feet when activating it on any of the 3 settings. I peaked over the kick panel and didn't see anything resembling a heater core there. It could be possible the prior owner pulled it. Thanks for the help.

Do you hear the fan come on when you turn it on? Cold air coming out of the duct, or no air? The heater core is the most susceptible to freezing damage if not properly winterized, and they do eventually go, so it’s possible the prior owner pulled it and didn’t replace it. The heaters don’t do much anyways.

Also note, you 211 will have the motor flipped 180 degrees from my direct drive, so it be on the back right corner when you open you engine hatch to locate it.2018 Ski Nautique 200 TE, H6

Thanks for the response! I took another look this evening. Definitely don’t see a hose coming out of the engine in the same location yours is. Didn’t hear a fan (or any noise at all) when turning the heater button on. I also don’t feel any air blowing at all. Here’s a picture of the top of my engine. Anything to you guys look like a heater hose? Hard to see in the way back on the 211, but I’ll try to stick my phone back there and take a picture tomorrow.
I’m thinking there isn’t one installed on the boat despite the button on the dash.

Speak for yourself! Love my heater and it cranks out the temps.The heaters don’t do much anyways.
On my direct drive and from the back looking forward, one heater line connects up near the thermostat on the right side of the engine and the second line connects below the right manifold to an engine block drain. Assuming the same points for a v-drive, everything would be on the left side. My heater lines are black.
You might not have a heater installed. Look under the drivers dash for outlets. There's typically a one at foot level in the kickpanel, a pullable hose outlet and there may be defroster vents on the dash for the windshield.2004 206 Air Nautique Limited - Black with Vapor Blue (family style)

If you have a heater, you'll have one outlet vent by the driver's feet, one defrost vent on the dash, and a pullout outlet beneath the seat behind the driver's seat (at least that's where they are on my '07 211).
I plan on taking mine out later this week, so I will try to remember to snap some photos.

Hah - lots of love out there for the heater! in my case our heated seats are way more effective than the heater, hence it’s all relative :-)
Cataractdaddy - seems like you don’t have the heater core installed, you would definitely hear the blower come on even if the water lines aren’t hooked up. Nautique doesn’t alter the dash controls typically based on what options you have. The button to turn the heater on is there regardless of whether or not it actually installed. The heater core will be behind the kick panel at the drivers feet.
in the picture you posted, if you disconnect the black water line from wher it comes off the block - the heater lines attach underneath. I used to have to disconnect the black hose to get at the heater lines so I could blow the water out of it as part of my winterization process.2018 Ski Nautique 200 TE, H6

The core itself is behind the driver seat, pull the "trash can" or cubby. The hoses route uphill from the engine and need a bit of revs to get flow. Also for winterizing last year I cut the hoses and installed fittings behind the panel at front of rear locker. I can blow out the heater core easily that way.
I also just draw in a bunch of RV antifreeze, via the strainer hosing, when the engine is hot. That's all I do for freeze protection.
Everytime I drain after that I have always gotten plenty of RV pink coming out at the drain spots.

Thanks for the help everyone! There is no heatercore confirmed. I pulled out the trash cubby and nothing was found there - got my ballast tanks removed for an upgrade and got a good luck at the stern end of the engine block - no extra hoses from what i could see were coming off of it.
Next project - the boat still has the TH marine valves after the through hulls for the ballast intake line. None of them are operational and are just stuck open at this point leading to the tanks passively filling constantly when the boat is at speed. I have some skiers in my friend group so not ideal (part of the reason i went with a 211 instead of a 210). I was planning on replacing the TH marine valves with some solenoid valves that will be spliced into the wiring of the fill pumps to eliminate the manual mechanism of opening and closing the TH marine or flow-rite valves. I ordered these on amazon - anybody have any luck with these or recommend a similar product that is more waterproof and explosion proof since they will be in the engine compartment?

2006 My heater core was in front kick panel in drivers foot well. - LOL PITA to reach. I was in IL, where winters got harsh. I pulled the heater core, and used a brass plug from Ace to cap it off at the engines pump.
If you aren't SURE its not leaking, that's great. These degrade overtime and can crack if not winterized correctly. Its just like a car's a heater core.
I opted for the worry free option, I don't need water pumping into my bilge when the engine is running :-)
