Nope wishful thinking , rumor mill and expectation. No 2019 nor 2020 model surf select optioned boats will function with the Garmin Fenix watch . If you have either of these model years , the surf select system will only work with the Pebble watch . Sell you Garmin Fenix and buy a cheap $50.00 Pebble watch on EBay . Just SayingOriginally posted by fearocks View Post
Thanks again, 23 it is with the 450. Also, I was getting ready to sell my Garmin Fenix watch, or give it away and get an Apple, but I guess I'll go ahead and keep it and let you guys know how it works with the surf system

Don’t know for 2019-2020 years but my 2017 Coastal G has the same warranty as the non Coastal 2017 . 500 hours or 5 years . No time or years were chopped off because it was a Coastal model . Not true for 2016 and older modelsOriginally posted by blueroom View PostDoes the Coastal still get only 3 years of warranty, or did that change recently? I seem to recall there might have been a change.

That sucks! I was looking forward to getting some extra use out of this watch. Thanks for the heads up... the Pebbles are cheaper on Ebay, than Amazon. I'm going with a 2020 model, since we're already this far into the season. Hmmm, maybe need to shoot them an email to see if they'd be open to letting me write something and posting it up on the app store to work with Apple and Android watchesOriginally posted by GMLIII View Post

Spoke to the dealer.... seems like that's holding the same for 2020, as wellOriginally posted by GMLIII View Post

On the Coastal you may ask your dealer if the warranty is a 1000 hours like the non -Coastal . After 2017 model year; they raised the hours from 500 to 1000 hours on the warranty . I’m assuming both standard and Coastal but not entirely sureOriginally posted by fearocks View Post
I just spoke to the dealer and the warranty is 5 years for both standard and coastal editions

That's kinda wyld that they haven't, it wouldn't take a lot of coding to write something for a watch. Maybe I just need to write something and sell it back to them lol.Originally posted by GMLIII View Post
