    No signal to forward

I have a 15 200 with the electronic shift trans. It does not go into gear when the throttle is moved forward only the revs go up. I swapped the plugs on the trans and put the throttle in reverse and the boat went forward. The problem is intermittent. Any one else have this problem?

These symptoms are typically caused by a failing Throttle Base Assembly. They are terribly unreliable. I know of folks that are on their third one.....
