I put 750s on top of the hard tanks this spring. Also added a 300lb sack under the bow seats. My experience is that you won't need to fill the 750s to get a great wave. And, if you do, you will want more weight up front (additional bag, lead, or passengers).

I use the same bow sac that jondavis posted and it fills my 06 almost perfectly. Problem is the overflow vents are constantly getting air locked and I have to manually vent the bag or push it out/throw boat in reverse to get it to vent. When draining generally always have to disconnect the bow bag from the belly tank or the bag collapses and the tank can't empty without bending sender.
Anyone else run into this issue/have a fix? Have tried one way air checks and adding lines but generally they aren't sensitive enough to the suction that the jabsco pumps create.
In regards to the question at hand, just got back from cumberland and with 500 in the bow, 350 in belly, and then 10 people jammed in the main cabin, it was nice to have 750s in order to completely fill the starboard side only and level the boat. The wake is stupid big and vertical on the OG hull tho unless more bow weight is added.Last edited by rlwagens; 08-07-2017, 06:09 PM.

750's will fit. The straight line sumo 900's also fit on top of the tanks. . My suggestion would be ditch the tanks and add 1100's back there. Gain a crap ton of storage and still get to maximize ballast.
Are you looking to add more for boarding or surfing, both?????
i have the piggy back sac in my ski locker from wakemakers ,and 200lbs of pop bags I keep all the way tucked under the nose . I can wakeboard at 23.5 around 3/4 full in each 1100. And surf with both 1100's full.
I had had to ditch the factory team prop in lieu of the 1617 to get out of the hole with that setup for boarding.

Can you even fill 750s all the way full in a 210 when piggybacked on hard tanks? I had 600s in my 210 and they maxed out the rear lockers. I usually didn't even fill them all the way full because I was worried that they would rub on the gas strut hardware and get a hole.2007 Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV, 1995 Cobalt 200

I'd love to know what bow sac you have.
Does it take up a lot of the bow storage area?

I know there are some design differences on the hulls of the new boats compared to mine so I was sure which I should use. I will probably just stick with the 750's since that's what it looks like I have in my 2012.

On my 08 210 I should have removed the tanks and gone with 750s on each side. I have the 400s and get tired of the lost storage space when full. I have found that less weight in back is better for a progressive wave and more weight in the bow. I have right at 300 # of LeadWake bags that I move around depending on where and how many people are on the boat.

Just as an update on a detour we took earlier in the thread, I installed the $16 check valve from wakemakers with two tee fittings on my bow bag and it now fills and empties like a dream without any worry of my center take pancaking. I had a little water left over in my bow bag but I think that will be alleviated by changing my quick disconnect at the bag from an elbow to a straight fitting.
