I have a 2006 SANTE and the perfect pass screen or display will work fine and be very sharp at times, then all of a sudden it will fade off or the info will be all scrambled and broken up then go completely off.it does this all the time. Sometimes when I go out it will be on sometimes off, the perfect pass always works even when display is off. If display is off I can still turn perfect pass on, here the beeps and it works, just no display, then sometimes it comes back on bright , sharp and looks good, works good. Just the display giving me problems. Anyone else had this happen? Figured I'd check with everyone before I sent it off to perfect pass to have them refurb it.

I had the same issue in my 06 211. I upgraded to the Stargazer version of PP and swapped it in about 30 minutes. Plug and play. I was very happy with it. -

Happens to me once in a while just like that as well. Everything works fine, display just disappears. Prob 2-3 times a season at the most. When it does, I just turn off the boat & restart and its fine.Migs

The same thing happened to my Stargazer display. I called PP. They Fed-ex me a new display with return Fed-ex envelope for the defective one. Didnt cost me a dime.

Ok called perfect pass and the update is... They discontinued the 2006 model in my boat back in 07, so they don't have that lcd screen to put in anymore. But he said he could send out a new gauge with a better screen and more robust design for 239.00 shipped to my house. Just an update for anyone else having this problem2009 Super Air Nautique 210 TE

FIW - I replaced my 4" screen with the new 5" and a software update. It works really well. So I also have a 4" Stargazer screen if anyone is interested in it.

Perfect pass has great customer support. I had a similar issue with a previous boat, they shipped me the new display with directions. Worked great. I highly recommend that company.Comment

if it is run off GPS then I had same problem, it is the GPS Antenna cable not the dispaly . I have one cable either side ( you only need one working) and disconnected one and the display is now fineComment
