    Dash Pod on 2000 SAN

The dash pod on our 2000 SAN has pulled through all the thumb screw attachments. Is there a good method for fixing this problem to get the dash attached securely?

Leather repair pros can fix the pod. Also, I use washers on the two lowest screws on either end.

Thanks. Are you just using metal washers?

Ace has some nice black washers you can use for the top 2 holes. I picked up 2 1.25" steel black washers and matching rubber washers. Rubber went under the steal ones and held great. Since they are black you really don't notice them. You might also be able to do the same but smaller with the bottom 2. My 4 were all ripped out and I used Plexus, fiberglass, and a dremel to remold the holes at the bottom plus the washers at top with remolded area to increase the surface area. That was a challenge to say the least.
