    2008 12V Button?

I have a 2008 SANT 230 and would like to know where the harness is for the 12 Volt dash pod button. I know it was use by the factory or dealer when underwater lights were used. No plans but if I do add any accesories I would like to know where to locate it. The owners manual only states for 10 amp max. accesories, nothing about location of harness.

    Any help would be appriciated.

      12 V button

I will call dealer today and see if they have any idea...

The owners manual states it is used when accesories are added to the boat, thus I am sure someone must know where

        Still looking for help?

        Still looking into this!
Contacted 2 dealers, one sent schematic but the 12V accessory wiring is not shown. Awaiting reply from another dealer and sent question to Correct Craft.

        Can anyone here help?

            12v Acc

Could be mistaken but I believe that button is wired to the 12v cigarette style plug in - if so could you trace back the wiring
            from one of those?
My memory is from using the outlet on a 2006 SANTE - pretty sure we have to push that button to get the sac pump to run.

no, its not wired to the 12v plugs.... not on the 2008 230 anyway, they are always hot when the ignition is on.

I have emailed 3 dealers and the factory.... no response?

I thought there was a dedicated breaker for this...not wired to anything. The idea was to bring your load back to the breaker.

Maybe I read this...and can find it again.

This switch does NOT control the 12 volt outlets in the boat. Those are hot at all times, regardless of this switch.

                          Location of 12v button harness

I talked to the main customer service rep at the factory this morning for an electrical issue I am having.I also asked about the 12v button.I was told that in the forty pin plug.Which is the large plug in the PME.The location is hole number 5.I do not know which hole is number 5 but ti should be empty. The rep is supposed to send me a schematic of the forty pin. When he does I will post here.He also told me it takes a special electrical connector.I beleive he said it was called a doutiche connector. He is supposed to send me one right away so I will also post a pic of this. Now if I could get my elect problem figured. My boat came through from the factory with the blower wired in with the interior lights. If any one has any light they could shed on this please let me know.I do not want to drive four hours round trip to my local dealer.

                            12v Switch

Had to verify as there is a good conversation taking place.

This does not apply to the OP but on the 2006 SANTE that I have

the rear/stern 12v accessory outlet does not provide 12v until the 12v
                            switch is depressed.

It could be different on the older model boats but my 12v outlets are hot all the time. They are not controlled by the 12v button on the dash.I am still waiting on the factory for the schematic I will ask them if it's different on different years or different boats.
