2008 12V Button?

Had to verify as there is a good conversation taking place.

This does not apply to the OP but on the 2006 SANTE that I have

the rear/stern 12v accessory outlet does not provide 12v until the 12v
switch is depressed.

Interesting. As many of us know, that 12 Volt switch used to be the switch that controlled the shower. When CC stopped offering the shower as an option, they changed the switch label to 12 Volt. I bet they still ran the wires to the shower location in 2006, and just hooked them up to the rear 12 Volt outlets that year.

Interestingly, that switch label has changed again in the past couple of years. It now controls the underwater lights, and is no longer labeled 12 Volt.

so i have 2004 SANTE without the shower but i have the shower button on my keypad. does this mean i am wired for another accesory i just need to tap into these wires?

got the anwser from Correct Craft

the 12V button is from position number 11 of the 40 pin PME. I have not yet looked but according to the PDF files I recevied from Correct Craft it is plugged.
I know the PDF file says 210/211 but they know I have the 230 team. The attached PDF came from customer service today.

And just to confirm what some speculated; position number 11 is where the shower was before it was removed from the options.

40 Pin connector question

I assume from this thread that to use the 12V switch on the pad, you have to connect the hot wire to the position 11 hole on the PME. What typy of connector do you use to plug in the wire? Thanks

40 Pin Connector

I talked to the main customer service rep at the factory this morning for an electrical issue I am having.I also asked about the 12v button.I was told that in the forty pin plug.Which is the large plug in the PME.The location is hole number 5.I do not know which hole is number 5 but ti should be empty.The rep is supposed to send me a schematic of the forty pin.When he does I will post here.He also told me it takes a special electrical connector.I beleive he said it was called a doutiche connector.He is supposed to send me one right away so I will also post a pic of this.Now if I could get my elect problem figured.My boat came through from the factory with the blower wired in with the interior lights.If any one has any light they could shed on this please let me know.I do not want to drive four hours round trip to my local dealer.

Could you post a picture of the connector if you have it? Can you tell me who you talked to and is sending it to you?
