    G23 Surf Settings

Start of another Summer and still trying to figure out my 2013 G23 wake surf settings.

Most of the time - we end up with 8 or more adults on the boat and I’m struggling to find the right set up to surf. We are all beginners for the most part.

when you’re body heavy - is there a general set with filling ballasts? I would assume more in the belly then Port or Starboard ballasts?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Does it make sense to start by saving settings based on the number of bodies on board rather than name? Until we get better and ride with 3-4 people on board I figure I need help with basic set up more than individual custom set up.

8 adults should punch out a decent wave I would think.
Are you placing a few more bodies to the surf side? Does that help?
    What speeds are you running?
Experiment with every combination possible. Bodies up front, heavy on one side, ballasts filled to capacity, speed, slight turn left, slight turn right, and fuel levels. Water conditions and depth can also change wave results (just when you think you have it all figured out).
Are you wanting a longer or taller wave, or both? What don't you like about your current results?
Are you running any additional weight (lead)? You probably don't need to with 8+ people, but when you start dropping the head count you may want to consider that. There are some good threads on that discussion.
I want to say it probably took us a whole season on our current G to really get the wave dialed in under different conditions. Experiment...
    Good luck.

      Thanks Scooter for your response.

what’s your go to setting for your G? Looking for a set up to build off of, mainly for beginners who haven’t tried surfing yet.
