bturner I’m not much of a tube puller either but we do on occasions when the kids have friends around the lake. Yeah the Molecule is huge but as you pointed out not much touches the water other then the balls

I would estimate the max forces as :

      Rec skiing 50-300
Slalom skiing 300-750lbs (we measured this using a strain guage got over 600lbs)

Wego Kite tube - will try to get a reading next time we fly

Tubing 500-2000lbs - if you dunk a tube or have 2 tubes with 4 burly dudes the pull is pretty stout. 2K on a tower is too much imo, just the leverage it has on the boat.

A couple of kids no problem tho.

I love all of these comments about the "tower breaking." Please. I watched a video where someone bought a flood totaled SANTE 230 from Copart. There was no trailer so the went over with this huge forklift and picked up THE ENTIRE BOAT from the tower. Yes. They picked up the boat from the tower and put it on a flatbed.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, but I'm pretty sure if the boat can be picked up by the tower, that tower is plenty beefy enough to tow a tube.
