    I previously had a G25 with 550 and now have a G23 with the H6. Also had a 216V. I have never filled up any of my boats at the marina because they don’t have premium and even the regular prices are ridiculous. Plus the marina is 25 minute drive from my dock. I have a golf cart and 12 6 gallon cans. I can drive out my pier to the boat in the golf cart.....so my solution is a quick 5 minute trip to the gas station, fill up 12 cans and one trip to the dock with the cart loaded down. I fill up with a drop-n-fill. It’s quicker than driving to the marina and cheaper

    Did you happen to ask or know if the trailer is overall the same between the G23 and the Paragon? Specifically wondering if length with trailer tongue folded in is same length or not. Also, saw you adjusted your lift...did you make any changes to bunk placement between the G23 and the Paragon?

    I too think this could be an issue for many. I have options for my fueling but know I’m likely in the minority.

    I personally believe they will sell as many paragons as they can make and I always thought the original claim of units to be produced was way low. I’d have to agree with you on half or less of those ordering a Paragon are also ordering a trailer...no need to really with the demographic they are targeting....although when I order a boat next year, I’ll also get a trailer “just in case”....even though it will be at a lake house...so I guess I’d be a weirdo too (although not in the paragon category)

    I have a lake house and if I didn’t have a trailer I wouldn’t be using my boat until June. But I do agree a lot of owners probably wouldn’t go out before then anyway

    You can access them from the rear so I don’t how often one would open the whole cover anyway.

    I came to my G23 from a Cobalt; this is a feature those boats have had for many years. It is somewhat slow but as impatient as I am, I don't suppose I really ever thought about it that way; it never bothered me on the Cobalt. This issue with this boat is weight of that cover; they had to do this by virtue of the motor cover design that include both sides, IMHO. Unlike the Cobalt which allowed you to raise it manually if the power was out (and it was quite heavy) this one does not provide for manual operation. If you have no power, you aren't raising the cover.

    Given the fact that I was an early "orderer"/"adopter", it shoudn't be surprising that I have seen every review video that is shown on you tube. In my opinion, this is the best, most calm and thorough. Enjoy...

    I’m on LBJ. We don’t get any material windstorms. Though my boat resides in a completely covered boathouse,most of the year-and has a cover that covers from the tower down past the chines, I prefer to keep it in enclosed, dry storage for the winter-on the trailer.

    And this is why I have no problem pulling my 230 with a Toyota SUV that can only tow 8100lbs. It's a 3 mile rndtp for me. And also I appreciate that it's not left on what seems to be a very nice dock year round.

    I'm guessing you're on one of the highlands lakes - do you get the winter windstorms we do at Possum Kingdom?
