What level of tint are you getting? I have mine scheduled in a week and ceramic coating Monday. We do boat at night so I don’t want it too dark but I think a tint will finish out the dark look

Mine heads straight to my caramic coating friend for correction and FeynLab Marine coating and light tint on glass. I don’t think I fully conveyed how particular I am; I mean disturbed...

So far, so good and just small cosmetic stuff that always happens during shipping (shrink wrap can scuff gel, scratches from ties, etc) and that dealer is having fixed. Your dealer should do good walkaround when they receive it, but it's great idea to do one yourself when you go to pick up just to see anything they may have missed. I would suggest checking all the extra vinyl bits just to make sure fully attached. There's so much on this boat (including the exterior) that it's easy to miss one that might not have a couple pop-ins fully seated.

Random side note - weird that they have the exterior wakesub ports completely open (no patterned vents like all other ports). Only thing I can think is to let little bit more air/sound out that way vs the interior wakesub ports?

Also random fact I didn't know - left screen has green glow that appears across the bottom to indicate when you hit your set speed...in case you want to turn off the scary buzzer from **** in the settings tab.

Any issues with the boat at all that you found? I hope mine is good. I just may be the most particular person walking our planet...

    Wait, you can't?

I once towed a G25 behind a half ton and on a tandem axle trailer; oh the horror. I was shunned by many.

    I digress.

Immediately following this, a debate ensues between the "financing luxury items is for morons" team versus the "I love debt" crowd

I'm not a wealth manager. All I am saying is if someone is buying a 250k to 325k boat, I would surely hope they are good enough with their money they can still afford to take an occasional trip and possibly own a vacation home. If that is not the case, they should probably take a hard look at their finances. People have their priorities I guess and to each their own.

Everyone I personally know who has a Paragon or has one on order already has or is writing a check for it. If they did finance it's not because they couldn't pay cash, it's due to the fact their ROI on other investments is probably 10% or above compared to the 5.5-6% interest rate they are paying on the boat.

Dave Ramsey recently stated that the cost of your vehicle shouldn't exceed 50% of your yearly salary. I guess I am super conservative as I think that is nuts and I am car fanatic with owning over 60 vehicles in my life time. I wouldn't ever consider spending 50k on a car if I made a 100k a year; same goes for boats IMHO. With the good rates and long terms do I think you can spend a little more than possibly your cars; sure. However, I hate to see people put themselves in positions they probably shouldn't

Please keep us posted on your Paragon you have ordered! Can't wait to see it.
