I read it as the 550 requires 93 period, where the 450 requires 93 if you want it to run at its peak. If that's incorrect, wouldn't they lump the 450 in with the 550 verbiage?

Back to the OP, looking to recoup approx 93% of the purchase price is aiming high, but take what you can get.

2016-2017 boats have the H6 not the ZR450.

I mean, for the most part, if you had 2 identical engines, and you put 87 in one and 93 in the other the one that has 93 fuel will run better. That is how I read that manual picture. Sure it can take 87 but if you want it to run its best use 93. I would assume it would be the same for the H6 manual....it can take 87 but if you want it to run its best use 93.

Agreed and I would follow by saying if you have an H6 450 engine don't throw you money away running 93 octane and use 87 octane instead

If you read back, The post that I quoted about the 450 was in reference to a member with a 2015.... which was the zr450.

Anywho..... sorry for the thread jack. Back to the subject at hand

Really!!! I put super in all my boats and lawn mowers. Now way your concerned with less than 20 bucks a fill up owning a 100k plus boat. I'm not sure what's safe to run but I'm running the best fuel I can get for it.

Back to OP ... my guess is right colors and situation for buyer you could get 135 to 140... That's in our market where there's a lot of competition and deals can be had. Just a WAG
