    After Market Wake Shapers

There is a lot of good previous discussions in regards to after market wake shapers and even home made systems. I have an 05 210 and was curious since they have been out for a few years now, has one risen to the top for the best choice? I have seen Ronix, Mission, Wake Surf Edge, and Quickshiftwakesurfing.com. Feel free to add any that I missed. Besides making your own, are one of these better for this model boat or does it come down to opinion? I am leaning towards the Mission Delta because I don't want to attach Velcro to the boat and it requires less storage. On the other hand, I read a previous post about a Wake shaper coming loose and coming back into the boat hitting someone. So my question: Is there a "best" option or does it come down to opinion?

I am currently running the mission delta. IMO it is the best out there and here is why. First off it floats so you don't need to use the tether. I have only had it come off once in the past year but it was not tethered so it didn't have a chance to bang on the boat and was easily recovered. Without the tether there is no way it will come back into the boat and hitting someone. For the Ronix, no way am I putting velcro on the side of my boat. I have also ridden with some home made ones similar to the quick shift and others on CL and ebay. They work equally as well but don't float. So aside from getting a boat with NSS I got the mission delta.

Mine floats and has a patent pending, it also had an extendable paddle so that you can determine how much push you'd like to have. 150.00 - PM me and I'll send you some pictures.

Has anyone actually been able to surf without rope on a SN 206 using any of these surf enhancer or is the hull design not able to create the requisite wake??

Crappy photo, but you get the idea. Mission Delta hands down. Never had mine come off, but I also removed the pinstripes. 04 SANTE.

I ended up purchasing the swell wakesurf. Overall very satisfied. Suction cups work great. I love that it floats just in case.

+1 on the swell wake - it floats, its white, hasn't fallen off & only $225 with Amazon Prime.

                    Stock ballast on 07 SV211 - 4 crew (3 teens + me) + surfer

I have an 02 SAN and made a GSA type system with very disappointing results. It looks good but has no push. Gone back to the home made suckgate with a slight list. I'm going to try a Malibu type system next because I hate the low speed steering with the suckgate. This is an honest post cause it cost a grand in actuators and switches here in Canada just to go back to a $50 suction cup an cutting boards.

That's disappointing. Were you able to go experiment with the deflection angle any? Factory ballast?

We have a lot of ballast, I will make a "learn from my mistakes" thread this weekend and I will detail everything there.

I put a mission delta on my 04 210. Cleaned up the wake and I did not have any problems with it staying attached. Could go from wakeboarding to surfing with ease. Did not have to shift any ballast. Just stick the delta on and go.
