ordering a new gs20 thinking about a black hull bottom so i can keep the sides white with a blue metallic accent stripe. i have always had white bottom and a dark hull side and end up lots of water spots dryingon the hull side while we are out and they are hard to remove. any input on the black bottom would be great ( my idea is that is in the water for the most part the air wont dry it)

Have had a couple colored hulls (bottom), never moored floating, either on the boat lift or the trailer, water spots underneath have never been a noticeable issue.
Visible scratches from the trailer bunks or lift bunks on the other hand is a big issue. Only way to avoid scratching is to float on/off the trailer, if you power load you will end up with scratches which you might not necessarily notice on the white hulls. Of course the same would be true if you beach your boat.

White bottoms scratch white. Unfortunately, black bottoms also scratch white. That said, black looks awesome if you can keep it relatively scratch free.

Last year I owned four black vehicles. Down to three now. Still miss that fourth one..... The little bit more that you put out in maintenance, pays back big time in terms of how it looks.

I think it looks great, especially in the actual photos. For me, one of the benefits of having a dark color bottom (with a lighter main color) is that it visually makes the boat have less freeboard. Shorter, longer look...which I like.
