Still kept the Polk UM1...... Should have been the first thing ditched for '17.

i like the bigger screen, and the leather wheel. I did my own surf sleeves on my 2016, ran the USB to drivers glove box, and ptm clamping racks. No reason I can see, that would make me upgrade. I especially don't like the loss of the driver glove box.

Open letter to nautique for 2018MY....
-bring back glove box
-add factory clamping racks
-swap the Polk pos for the new JL head unit or a fusion 750.
-add a helm remote but keep screen functionality for stereo.
-STAY COOL VINYL! The vinyl in my G is my biggest complaint coming from an MC. MC vinyl is miles better. It's much more durable, it stays cool, and it breathes. Also doesn't stain as easy.
-rear cupholders

I like the vinyl on the Nautique better than my MC. Way more comfortable and plush. Just don't order black

I agree. I have never heard anyone say before that the MasterCraft vinyl is better than the Nautique vinyl. That's a first!

The MC vinyl is definitely tougher and more resistant to puncture. It also doesn't look as nice and isn't as comfortable. Wayward is correct that the MC vinyl doesn't get as hot. I had black ends on my MC vinyl and it never got hot.

That being said, the Nautique vinyl is more plush, looks better and is more comfortable. I guess it all depends on what you want out of your vinyl. It's a trade off. No free lunch.

Doc- I agree that it is softer and more plush..... But give it time. You are aware of how many MCs I had before, and the kind of use I put them through. I never had a single issue since they switched to the new vinyls in 2010.

My G, on the other hand, has had 3 seat covers replaced for tears in the softer vinyl, and is stained on a few cushions from sunscreen that had zync in it. The tears happened during early season riding when everyone was wearing jeans in the boat. Just from sliding the pocket buttons on the seat.

Your phone is gonna fry in that holder. It has to be out of the sun, in the dash

I keep my phone in a suction cup holder stuck to the dash. If anything its more exposed than that holder. I have never had a problem with it overheating.

I really like the dash upgrade and bigger link screen that's for sure. Kinda off topic from Nautique, but this is pretty is pretty cool I heard the New Supra SG450's are coming out with this on the 2017's
