Count me in too. I've had it from all lakes around but one. Still haven't found a medical solution around it. 24 hours from when it starts. Afrin helps for a few minutes but then if comes back. I've tried Nettie, Claritin (ahead of time), and I use Nasacort daily anyway.

I'm starting to think more seriously about the ugly nose clips... This nasty amoeba has been in the news a lot the last couple of weeks because of tragic infection at the Whitewater Center in Charlotte. It's extremely rare but it can do real damage in warm water that gets shot up the nose.

I have been dealing with this too on Lake Palestine in east Texas. In addition to my nose, my eyes also burn like fire the day after I am on the lake. I thought it was just allergies from pollen and what not. But now that I think about it, I only have the issue when I have been in the water. Don't ever remember having this until last summer.

Caddo always gets me the worst. I've been here 10 years and have never put in Palestine.

Palestine can be a costly lake if you don't know where to go. It's nice cause it's rarely crowded at least compared to the lakes closer in to DFW. If you ever make the trip PM and I'll give you some tips.

That ocean nasal spray helps clear it up quicker.

I think you jinxed me. It happened to me this last weekend . I was shocked at first that water actually went up my nose but after the fact I sneezed for at least 20 minutes . I used afrin we bought at DG and it worked

                  Careful with the Afrin.
Use for 3 days in a row...MAX. After that, you can get rebound congestion
