Ive been told 43 with the Excal, 47 with the 409. The Excal 200 that I saw a few weeks ago had an Acme 654 installed instead of the 422. I believe its the same prop with 1/2" less pitch.

I saw closer to 41 with the excal, stock prop not sure what it was, and slower out of the hole.2018 200 Team H6

41 is pretty pathetic if that was GPS confirmed. Ouch. The boat did not appear to push that much water, so that slowness is surprising (and disappointing)

Not sure a standard boom is going to fit on a 200 because of how far back the windshield comes, might require a double bent boom.2018 200 Team H6

On the other hand, I really like the redesign for easy access to the swim deck, and the side storage I like, too.

Well, there has to be something weird - prop, hull etc. since a 2010 malibu Response (about the same beam, weight etc.) gets 54+ mph (GPS confirmed) with the LS3.
And I can't wait till they remove that stoopid locker below the rear seat. Dumb idea that hinders access to the water.

Well, the 196 has always been more of a displacmeent hull; I hoped the 200 had some plaing hull characteristics in it.I want top speed not only for multiple footers, but for outrunning storms on a very large lake.

Ok this might change a couple things. I wanted a limited with 343 and ZO, but I like to foot and I think having the availability of extra speed is a must. So now I'm thinking of SE with 409 and ZO. Or a plan B all together.
This boat is such a dramatic change we really need CC to put some information out on Speed, test with other props and get a couple footers behind the boat. I realize this boat was meant for the course, but there are a lot of people that ski and foot.
I would like to see 45 top speed with the 343, then check the hole shot. It would be nice to see 43 2 in the boat and a 200 LBS footing it. Maybe a 3 blade prop????
Just my testing wish list.

I don't remember, does the 200 have a hydrogate (I think it does)? If so, that will gain you a couple more mph if it is anything like the 196.Promo Team member
