G, actually I'm pretty sure heaters were a factory option going back to atleast '87. The brochures aren't working at CCFan right now, but I believe they were made by "Marksman" or something like that. You may have a factory heater.

Your boat looks good. Very similar to mine. I love the red nautiques. I am having trouble getting bites as well. It might have to od with our region. Good luck.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I to am surprised no one has got it. I set the price High because a few around here that were in really nice shape went for 12kish +-, and I think this one is way nicer than some of the 6k to 8k boats out there. I probably got with buying it and refurbing it around 17k. I know I'll never get any where close to that out of it. Also all the add on's add up(ie. pole rack, bimini, stereo, seat repairs, buffing, etc.) that you want have to buy or worry about. I have a friend here that wanted it but didn't want to spend the money, so he got a 1983 and has told me he had no clue how much all the extras were, and I know like a car accessories don't make it worth more. But all this one needs is water and a board to ride, and I have a 07 Murray board and binding i could throw in if the price was right.... ; ) thanks everyone.

G, only giving my opinion because you brought the subject up. I've seen 2001's this clean with a tower for less. I know you have an extended pylon, but for me and maybe a lot of people, that adds no value to the boat. There are just way too many 2001's available for a lot less online right now. To spend 11k on this boat still have to add a tower for a min. 1,200 plus plumb the proper auto-ballast for another couple hundred, it's just not worth it. I might as well step up another 5k and pick up the 95 Super Sport. Just my opinion.

All good points, but you have to consider that not all people want to use it for wakeboarding. Though expensive, its a lot easier to add a tower than it is to remove one- which is important if you want to end up with a pristine boat and not a piece of swiss cheese. Its a beautiful boat, and if I were in the market for a 2001, Id give this a look for sure.Originally posted by skubz53212G, only giving my opinion because you brought the subject up. I do agree that the market is flooded with 2001's right now, which doesnt help. Its also priced well into the range of the 90+ boats, which have a superior slalom wake.1990 Ski Nautique
