I had asked the question a couple of months ago about putting a new fct on an older super sport. Many people were under the impression it could not be done, but my dealer said it work. It bolted right on, the places on the deck where the tower bollts on have not changed. My dealer put an 03 fct on a 95 super sport last year. I also put on Flight Clips, I opted not to spend over $300 for the new mounting collars and mounted them the way they were mounted until this year. I do see why they went to the brackets, I have done towers and ballast on quite a few boats, I would not want any mechanic drilling holes in my tower. As I measured the 03 vs.the 04 Super Air I see this year they are mounting the flight clips closer together to accomidate smaller boards. So I mounted them 10.75 vs 12 inches last year.
Just wanted to add one thing, keep in mind supers older than 2002 have a higher floor. I took my boat out this week and realized the tower is pretty low, lower than 6 feet to the bottom of the top bar.

How can those pictures possibly be over 400kb and still be that small?

For those asking yes, I installed the tower myself. It took about 3 hours just because I wanted to be very careful.
The tower should cost $1700- $1900 but CC did a poor job packing it, every peice was scrached, so I will see how much they knock off. The flight clips were around $500 for the pair (without the new mounting clamps, add another $300 for those puppies) but drilling the tower to mount them was a little scarry. I did the ballast as close to 04 factory as possible. I used all factory thru- hulls, scoops, valves. I did not use the hard tanks or water gauges, by the advise of my friend and my dealer. I can put more weight in sacs and they are easier for maintance in the V drive. I have about $1000 and a lot of time in it but it looks factory. I also used the new stainless thru- hulls and replaced the old ones.
All parts and accessories came from Rockford Marina. Rockford, Illinois

I have changed the coding of the site to create thumbnail images for pictures that are too large to fit into the forums properly. To view the full-size images, just click on the small ones in the post. The full-size image file size is what is listed in the frame of the thumbnail.

Yeah, my bad. I must have scrolled right past the first sentence of the post that explains it. I didn't even try to see if they were thumbnails. For some reason I was thinking like super bitmaps or something.
