I finally finished my stereo install. Here are the pics of the amps. I did it without using wood with glue or long metal staps bolted to the boat. All fasteners are stainless steel. I used 16 GA steel as my template for the amps.

Four JL XR650-CXi's in the stock location and one JL 10W7.

Don't know if you already have your JL 10W7 installed yet, But I have a a 2001 SAN and my 10W7 with the JL sealed enclosure fits in behind the Kick board of the drivers feet. It sounds awesome there too, I have it facing foreward and the bass just wraps up and around the bow seating. I have my amps mounted in the same place as you too. No one could ever know i have a 1600 watt system unless they hit the start button. Super stealth.

How did you connect those nutcerts to your hull? Epoxy or are they drilled in? I LOVE the way you did thi and am thinking about doing the exact same thing to mine. My stereo kicks but the wiring and setup is crappy.

Look at any hardware store Home Depot, Lowes, ect. I have seen them there. Look first in the specialty fasteners section if not there try the cabinet hardware section.

Update;
They have stood up to the test of many hours of boating. No failure, everything is perfect!!!!!!

Looks awesome and love the mounting approach you took on the amps. I tried to get onto the clickbond site, but they want you to register...blah, blah, blah. This looks like the manufacturers site, and I was just trying to find a place that sells them. I looked in Home Depot last night, but had no luck. Anyone know where I can find these standoffs? Thanks!

Did you buy them from clickbond or somewhere else? Link? When the boat comes out of storage, I will be looking to do a similar mounting setup for my amp. Thanks.

I also used the clickbond fasteners. I made an amp rack out of plywood coated with fiberglass resin. Placed it in the same place as wakefun. I got the clickbond parts from:

http://www.theflightshop.com/

They ship fast, but communication is poor. Still, I recomend them, the prices seemed good.

I see how the fasteners are mounted to the hull and then the finished result with them thru the carpet... I assume you peeled the carpet back and drilled holes in the carpet?

Sorry I never saw your question:(.........I just cut a little hole in the carpet and the studs stick through.
