Our next 210 has arrived at the dealer. We ordered the boat with no carpet or snaps and will be installing faux teak Sea Dek in it rather than having carpet. Repeated the Fury Red with top and main stripe from our last 210 but went with Gun Metal Flake deck stripe. Interior is reversed with Gun Metal in the main stripe and Fury Red piping. I can't wait to see the Sea Dek installed and it will be a long winter...

Question : Looks like the tower is all the way down with the Z-5 mounts in place. On my 2011 210, I have to remove them to lower the tower all the way. Is this something Nautique changed ?

I don't see the Z5 mounts... not quite sure but it looks like the non-Z5 bimini may be installed on photos 7 & 8.

I am not sure on the mounts but the boat was ordered with a Z5. I'll try to post larger versions of the pictures. I'm not making a trip down to the dealer to see it until a few weeks.

Looks great, nice color scheme. Will be keen to see how the SeaDek flooring looks.

That looks great!! It has come a long way from when I saw it on the factory floor! Can't wait to see the Sea Dek installed. The few boats that I have seen with that done came out looking great! I am interested to hear how the noise from the engine and transmission is compared to one with carpet. I know running mine without the carpet is noticeably louder. Hopefully the Sea Dek will quiet it down quite a bit.

Like this but with no Billabong logos. I think the teak look with the right colors looks classy. With occasional salt water use with this boat I didn't want carpet at all.
Jeff, Sea Dek touts vibration and sound absorbent like carpet so I'm hoping noise level doesn't change much.

Beautiful boat. I look forward to seeing your pictures after you have YOUR Sea Dek installed. It's awesom with the Billabong logo and I know it will be on your boat too. I just want to see how it looks without the logo.
You're in NC, so you still have some summer/riding time left in the year. You'll get to use it before it gets too cold.

Sea Dek asked if I wanted any custom logos such as Nautique, Air Logo etc in it. I wanted a simple all wood plank look. Not taking delivery until early next year so it will definitely be a long winter.

Ouch, that will make for a long winter. But it sure will make for an exciting spring!!!
That's cool that Sea Dek gave the option for other logos. Was it going to cost more or were they going to charge the same? I think the simple all-wood look will look awesome! I look forward to seeing the final product!
I do business in Raleigh so maybe I'll be fortunate enough to see it in person next year.

I didn't ask about cost difference with adding logos. I would assume it would be extra.
I'm 40 miles east of Raleigh but if it worked out, always welcome. Jeff and I are occasionally on the same lake on northern NC and southern VA border.

Roughly how much was it to switch to the sea dek instead of carpet? I would love to have that instead of carpet

I'll hit you up next time I'm in Raleigh when it's warm. Hopefully we'll be able to hook up next spring/summer.

Around $400-$500 I think. I ordered the boat with no carpet so a little savings there. I'd have to check with dealer to get an accurate number.

I liked your idea of the sea dek instead of carpet and was going to do the same but was talked out of it. Dealer said it would eventually get matted down and also peel. I wonder how much use the billabong boat gets and how it's holding up. I can still change it but his comments kind of worried me

I think it will hold up fine. What makes your dealer think it will get matted down? Also, pieces could easily be replaced in the future. There are pictures of the SeaDek in my boat on the last post of page two on the thread.

Beautiful boat. Love the colors. I like the feel of carpet when its new, but think I would prefer this stuff over matted down carpet in later years. I also wonder about the longevity of it. Seems it would hold up better than carpet.

I dont kwow what the reasoning is behind that...but i went ahead with it anyway. Like you said, you can always replace pieces in the future.

The only problem I have is my wife rebels from her childhood. She grow up with a military father and a bother on the pro tour that had sponsors boats. So no food or drink or even painted toe nails allowed in the boat. Well know that she has her own (or my) boat she feels she needs to do everything her father wouldnt let her do and then I get to clean it or fix it.

VERY VERY NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only thing I don't like is the straps coming off the bimini to the front, that would bug the crap out of me.

I am pretty sure those forward straps are to stabilize the bimini while the boat is being trailered, such as at highway speeds . . .he has them in place and ready to go!

HS is correct. The straps on the Z5 to the bow grab rails are for trailering only.
